Job Summary:

  • Manages a dynamic, outstanding team of Embedded Software Developers who work on cutting edge medical diagnostics products that save the lives of pets worldwide! 
  • Maintains knowledge of company products and product pipeline as well as disruptive technology changes and developments in the industry to provide the team with continuous improvement and innovation.
  • This manager will lead multiple, highly visibly projects of key strategic importance.
  • Work with product owners, architects, engineers, and various stakeholders deliver high quality products.

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required. Advanced degree a plus
  • 10+ years of embedded software development experience
  • 5+ years of management experience and excellent leadership skills
  • Embedded systems, Linux, C++/C, Object Oriented language/design (OOD)
  • Agile/Scrum process experience required
  • Demonstrated success leading software product development teams
  • Knowledge of chemistry, biology, or other physical science a plus
